| Hey Man! Meet Bart Simpson at Colchester Zoo - 21-Jul-06 |
On Sunday 30th July Colchester Zoo will be launching the summer holidays with ‘Do at the Zoo’, featuring special guest star Bart Simpson. There will be lots of fun activities and make sure you come in fancy dress for your chance to win a prize.
Judging of the fancy dress will take place at the mini disco at 11.00am in the Kalahari Centre, plus Bart Simpson will be making an appearance. Visitors can then meet Bart at 12.00pm by the zoo entrance, at 1.00pm and 2.30pm outside the Inn at the Zoo and at 4.00pm by the zoo’s exit.
Children can also enjoy a bouncy castle and craft activities outside the Inn at the Zoo from 11.00am – 4.00pm. Proceeds from these activities will go towards the Save the Rhinos Campaign Fund. Plus don’t miss your chance to meet special guests ERAS (Essex Reptile and Amphibian Society) who will have a variety of reptiles on display.
