Help us name our male White Rhino calf!
On the 14th October, White rhino, Astrid, successfully gave birth to a healthy calf! Astrid is proving to be a great mum and the calf is growing bigger and stronger each day!
The new arrival is yet to be named and we thought we’d ask for your help whilst also raising some funds for Colchester Zoo’s Emergency Operating Fund!
After a number of name suggestions the Animal Care Team have shortlisted their three favourites and we now have the following names to choose from;
We are kindly asking for a minimum donation of £1.00 to vote for your favourite name.
VOTING HAS NOW CLOSED
Not only does your donation give your favourite name a chance of being selected, but by taking part you are also helping to support the zoo during this uncertain time, with all money received through your votes going directly to the Zoo Operating Fund which helps to care for all of our animals.
The vote for our White Rhino calf will close towards the end of November when all donations are counted and the top name will be announced! Keep an eye on our website and social media for the big reveal!
