We are home to over to over 220 species of animal set in 60 acres of parklands and lakes. Colchester Zoo currently employs over 350 members of staff made up of our animal care team, grounds care team, our retail staff, gardeners, catering and office teams to name just a few! All of our teams work extremely hard to provide a fantastic day out for our visitors.
Future staff requirements
Later in 2021 it is hoped a level of normality will return and the Zoo’s gates will once again re-open to our customers who are patiently waiting for this day.
We will therefore need to recruit new staff, full time or part time, to fill in various positions in every department.
