COVID – TESCO VOUCHER ENQUIRY

As of 23rd March 2020, the difficult decision was made to temporarily close Colchester Zoo to customers.

As a result of this closure, those that had exchanged Tesco Vouchers to use towards admission to visit Colchester Zoo are now not able to continue their visit. It is so disappointing that the current situation has impacted on the visit that you were no doubt greatly looking forward to.

We have had confirmation from Tesco that they are extending the validity of voucher codes from 6 – 12 months from the original order date to give customers more time to use them once Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.

Tesco will be in touch via email with those who have existing unredeemed codes to advise that these will be extended. You will then receive another email from them with the same code and a new expiry date. This will also be updated in your Clubcard app.

For Tesco products that remain on sale Tesco are temporarily introducing the new 12 month validity for new orders placed.

If you are unsure about the expiry date of your voucher or haven’t received any communication from Tesco after the 30th April, please contact Tesco directly.
