Special Senses Day is back! Throughout the day many of our displays will be British sign language interpreted with opportunities to try alternative activities, handling, and themed sensory touch and smell tables, this truly is an event for everyone!*
The Stage outside Penguini’s Restaurant*
The Crafty Drama Group – 10:00am
Join this fantastic group as they bring together all abilities using music, dance and drama!
Dunmow Majorettes – 11:00am
Enjoy a performance from this group of young majorettes!
Funky Voices – 12:00pm
Once again we will be joined by this large choir as they bring our visitors together with a some well-known songs!
Dance21 – 1:00pm
Enjoy a performance from this Dance 21 is an association which provides a dance group for children and young adults with Down Syndrome and their siblings in the Essex area.
The BIG sing – 3:30pm
Our final performance of the day is from The BIG sing choir, a local community choir which brings together people of all abilities to share their love of singing.
The Information Village*
Enjoy representative stalls from a host of groups and charities working with people with disabilities including RAD, Haven Hospices, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Autism Anglia, Colchester Gateway Club and more! They will available to speak to throughout the day in the top area of the zoo.
