Introduction to the Department
As part of our Maintenance Team you will be helping to ensure that all guests using our facilities, experience the highest level of quality and service. Key responsibilities will include working across the site on a range of construction and maintenance activities, reporting damage and vandalism, and operating construction equipment.
Role Responsibilities
- Working on construction and maintenance jobs, including construction, groundwork, demolition and labouring.
- Ensuring facilities are clean and tidy
- Driving digger, dumper and front loaders
- Reporting damage and vandalism to line manager
- Driving company vehicles
- Operating hand-held equipment and machinery
- Reporting any damage or vandalism to the Supervisor
Role Requirements
- Experience of construction or labouring work
- Excellent maintenance skills
- Excellent time management
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work individually and as a team
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety compliance
- Numeracy and literacy skills
Working Hours
The position is full time, working 5 days per week. Normal hours will be Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm.
