Colchester Zoo Closure Queries
Since the announcement that Colchester entered Tier 4 restrictions as of Boxing Day we confirmed Colchester Zoo’s temporary closure as of 4.30pm on the 24th December until further notice in line with Government Guidance.
Read a letter from the Managing Zoo Director regarding closure here.
We will update our website and social media with information of reopening when we are advised it is safe to reopen. Until then we thank you for your understanding and support during this difficult time.
In the meantime we appreciate that many of you have some questions following the closure therefore we have tried to answer as many of these for you as possible.
To give Colchester Zoo more of a chance to get through this period we will be working on reduced staff numbers so please bear with us as we are working hard to respond to enquiries as quickly as possible. We hope that we have answered your query via our FAQ page otherwise please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will respond to you as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. We will continue to keep you up to date by Bringing the Zoo to you so do follow us on social media and via our website and keep in touch.
We hope we will be able to welcome you back to Colchester Zoo soon, in the meantime please stay safe and look after yourselves.
