We are pleased to announce that Colchester Zoo was nominated for best Attraction and Days Out in Essex for the EastLife Awards. The top three nominations were then selected from each category to go through to the final round, and we are delighted to have won!
We would like to thank all those who nominated us for this award!
Not only does your visit provide a ROARSOME day out for the whole family, but it also assists the Zoos charity, Action for the Wild, which helps conservation projects worldwide, including our own UmPhafa Nature Reserve in South Africa. Colchester Zoo is continuously working with both the animals and visitors in mind; with the aim of conserving endangered species and raising awareness of the wonders of wildlife.
