We are delighted to announce that Colchester Zoo has reached the Muddy Stilettos Awards Regional Finals in the Best Family Attraction category!
Do you enjoy learning more about a number of different species from across the globe? You can vote for Colchester Zoo as Best Family Attraction until Thursday 18th April on the Muddy Stilettos website.
Not only does your visit provide an adventure for the whole family, but it also assists the Zoo’s charity, Action for the Wild, which supports conservation projects around the world, including our own UmPhafa Private Nature Reserve in South Africa.
However, we want to do more, and as of 1st January 2025, Colchester Zoo will become a charitable trust known Colchester Zoological Society! This change will ensure that Colchester Zoo can continue to protect and preserve wildlife and wild places for years to come.
