Meet Mavis a female Greater kudu who joined our African species at Kingdom of the Wild on the 12th March!
After a few days settling in and getting to know her new keepers and our existing kudu group, Mavis took her first steps into her new outside paddock and met some of the other new friends she now shares her home with. It was a great success and Mavis seemed quite confident seeing our white rhinos, giraffes, zebras and ostriches for the first time. We look forward to her watching her grow within the group.
The Greater kudu is one of the tallest antelope and can usually be found in Eastern and Southern Africa.
