Zoo Pass Extension Period
Since closing on the 25th December 2020 we issued a form online for those passholders who have been affected and not been able to use their Zoo Pass. The form was available to complete a request for an extension on your Zoo Pass.
The deadline has now passed to request this extension and all those who have completed the form will have additional time automatically added to their passes ready for our re-opening date on the 12th April.
Thank you to all those Zoo Passholders who have continued to support the Zoo during closure and to those who have also helped by continuing your Zoo Membership as normal.
However, we appreciate it is not possible for all Zoo Passholders to donate the time lost on their Zoo Passes therefore those who have completed the extension request form will be compensated for the time lost.
Therefore, all Zoo Passes that were valid from the 1st December 2020 onwards and have completed the form, will be given an extension of 132 days, this will be added on to your Zoo Pass expiry date. This includes 108 days of closure plus an additional 24 days due to tier restrictions imposed prior to closure in December.
- Your Zoo Pass expired on the 3rd December 2020 – you will have 2 days to use your pass once your extension has been added, therefore expiring on the 13th April 2021
- Your Zoo Pass expired on the 19th February 2021 – you will have 80 days to use your pass once your extension has been added, therefore expiring on the 1st July 2021
- Your Zoo Pass expires on the 20th April 2021 – you will have an additional 132 days to use your pass once your extension has been added, therefore expiring on the 30th August 2021
To save costs we will not be reprinting passes with a new date on but passes will be valid at the admission gates.
To find out your new pass expiry date if you requested an extension please log in to your new Membership Portal from the 12th April as passes are currently in the process of being extended. Find out how to do this here.
