Meet Peppa Pig and George

Don’t spend time jumping around in muddy puddles! Join us on 12th May as we are joined by ever-popular children’s characters, Peppa Pig and George!
Bring along your cheeky piglets to our character day where Peppa Pig and George will be greeting visitors at intervals throughout the day – more details coming soon.
Due to popularity of the event, admission for Colchester Zoo will be required to have the chance to see Peppa Pig and George on the 12th May 2024.
To allow as many visitors as possible the chance to see Peppa Pig and George, this will not be an individual ‘meet and greet’! Queuing will be required but please be assured we will do our utmost to keep waiting time to a minimum.
Passholders: This event is FREE for Zoo Passholders. Simply turn up on the day and bring with you your valid zoo pass to gain entry into the zoo.
Paying Visitors: We recommend all non-passholders to book their tickets online in advance to receive the best price on admission.
IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFORMATION
From 20th April to 18th May 2024, the A12 southbound entry slip road at J26 Stanway will be CLOSED.
A diversion will be put into place which will divert traffic to the A12 northbound at J26 Stanway and travel to J27 and re-join the A12 southbound at J27 entry slip road. Please consider this when planning your journey as you may experience heavy traffic in this area and an alternative route may be beneficial.
