Pond Table

Join the Education Team at Nature Area with a live pond table where you can learn more.

The Exploratorium
11:00am to 4:00pm
Kingdom of the Wild
Our ever-popular Exploratorium returns with new boxes this May Half Term.

Discovery Den
10:30am to 1hr before zoo closing
Inside Elephant Kingdom
Learn about different animals habitats with our interactive sand table and Draw Alive wall.

Face Painting
11:00am to 1hr before zoo closing
Face Painting Station
Transform into your favourite animal including special dinosaur characters!*

*Small charge applies.

Main Stage, next to Penguini’s Restaurant terrace

*In wet weather, this activity will take place in the Kalahari Theatre.

Listen to tales of the most incredible species on the planet and discover more about your favourite animals!

Join us for a CONSERVATION CELEBRATION on Wednesday 29th May 2024

Discover stalls from local colleges about the importance of conservation.

PLUS, don’t forget to check out our additional otter encounters in celebration of World Otter Day!

Passholders: This event is FREE for Zoo Passholders. Simply turn up on the day and bring with you your valid zoo pass to gain entry into the zoo.
Paying Visitors: We recommend all non-passholders to book their tickets online in advance to receive the best price on admission.
