Water in a Box – continuing to reduce single use plastics!
Colchester Zoo is always looking for new ways to reduce, reuse and recycle as part of our ‘Green Zoo’ mission.
Over the past few years we have seen many changes to our choice of packaging and product and we are pleased to announce that we will now be offering an eco-conscious spring water known as ‘Water in a box’! This product is recyclable and sustainable; it is made from low carbon and naturally renewable and responsibly sourced, sustainable materials.The box and cap does not contain PET.
This is just another step closer to our ultimate aim here at Colchester Zoo, which is to reduce our waste produced and recycle whatever products we can!
We hope that by offering this product it will also raise awareness amongst visitors on their trips to Colchester Zoo.
