We are excited to announce that we have a brand new member joining our Zoo Crew this February Half Term in celebration of our 60th birthday!
Before you can meet our new Orangutan friend, we need your help to decide on a name! Simply vote for your favourite out of the following options and the name with the highest number of votes will be chosen!
Choose your favourite name!
Pongo – The Latin name for Orangutans is Pongo abelii
Red – Orangutans are currently listed as Critically Endangered on the IUCN Red List
Oren – Means orange in Malay which is the Malaysian language spoke in Borneo
