World Farm Animals Day 2023
Here at Colchester Zoo, we have a number of different species within our Farm section, including Llamas, Alpacas, Tortoises, Wallabies, Goats, Sheep, Guinea Pigs, Lorikeets, Armadillos, Skunks, Ferrets, Reindeer and some creepy crawlies!

Zoo Academy Animal Experiences
These amazing experiences are the perfect introduction to life working with animals for any child dreaming of becoming a Vet, Zoo Keeper or Wildlife Ranger. With expert tuition from our Animal Care Team, your child will step behind the scenes to meet some incredible animals including Llamas, Alpacas, Tortoises, Wallabies, Goats, Sheep and Guinea Pigs. Lorikeet Feeding
Immerse yourself in the rainforest at our Australian Rainbows Walkthrough! For an additional cost, hand feed the Lorikeets sweet nectar and see how colourful they truly are.
Discovery Den
Get hands on at our interactive sand table and watch your creations come to life. PLUS get up close and hold one of our creepy crawlies!
Sensation Station
Engage your sense and interact with some exotic creatures including Armadillos, Skunks and Ferrets! Learn more about how these incredible species connect with nature.
Reindeer Experience
