Please be aware that from Friday 29th March 2024, our Zoo Pass prices will be increasing.
We hope that you were able to participate in our celebratory events for our 60th anniversary in 2023. This year we are gearing up ready for when the zoo becomes a charitable trust as of the 1st January 2025, known as Colchester Zoological Society. By becoming a passholder you can join us as we embark on this exciting new journey and help shape the Zoo of the furture. You can find out more about why we are transitioning to a charity here.
Other than visiting your favourite animals, there’s so much more to enjoy this year, including the opening of our new Dinosaur Realm experience this Easter! PLUS, don’t forget to check our calendar of events as we wouldn’t want you to miss out on all that we have planned in 2024, with entry to many of our events included in an Annual Zoo Pass.
Like everyone, we have been affected by rising operating costs and whilst we have absorbed these as much as possible to reduce the impact on our visitors, we now need to increase prices. This is to ensure we can continue to strive towards our mission of providing a first-class experience for visitors and at the same time, further understanding and respect for animals through conservation. We hope that you will continue to support our work both here at the Zoo and around the globe, and thank you for your understanding.

You can still renew or purchase a Zoo Pass before the 29th March 2024 to take advantage of the current prices. We may also have some Zoo Pass offers during this period which makes a pass unbelievable value for money – be sure to check our social media channels or subscribe to our email list for the latest offers!
