"I would just like to thank ALL the staff who made my zoo keeper day an amazing and unforgettable experience...The whole experience was amazing from the moment I was signed in at the reception. I was then taken by Ben to the elephants which was truly fantastic, especially when I fed Tanya the elephant. I was then taken to meet Charlotte and Nicole who allowed me to walk Snuffles the ring tailed coati. I then held Pom Pim the skunk, this was followed by Charlotte introducing me to Chris where I handled and flew Inca the Hawk and Elm the Barn owl. I was nervous of the hawk but Chris was great at making me feel at ease and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. After lunch I was met by Bex who took me to the sun bears and ant eaters. Bex was so informative and when I was taken to the Ant eaters I fed them meal worms (something I never thought I would ever touch).
So again I would like to thank them all, they truly were amazing, so passionate about the animals they care for and a credit to Colchester Zoo. Each and every one were polite, friendly and extremely informative. I will definitely be back to do the other experiences, and I have already recommended this to all of my friends and family, and after seeing some of the pictures kindly taken by the staff I already have friends wanting to visit and do the same experience. Once again thank you so much."
