Colchester Zoo provides a unique location for your next team building event that is sure to challenge, stimulate, reward and boost your team’s morale.

With specially-tailored activities, teams can focus on communication, planning, time budgeting, design, debating skills and reasoning, combined with some amazing, close-up animal interactions – this package is a must for any organisation wishing to strengthen and motivate their team!

Price – Full Day Experience:
£79.95 for ONE person

Price – Half Day Experience:
£45 for ONE person

Both Full Day and Half Day experiences are for a minimum of 8 participants and a maximum of 25 participants.

If you would like to book for more than 25 participants, please contact the Experience Team to discuss your booking as we may be able to facilitate based on a slightly higher participant number.

Please allow at least 48 hours for processing of online application and confirmation before you wish to visit. Once the experience has been booked it cannot rescheduled less than 8 weeks prior to the date of the experience taking place, and a £20 fee (inc 20% VAT) will be charged for alterations and rescheduling to your booking at any time. An experience can only be rescheduled once.

Please advise at the time of booking if activities or menus need to be varied for anyone that has additional requirements including access, pregnancy, diet or immuno-suppression.

Half Day Experience (Morning): 9:00am – 1:00pm

• Giraffe feeding session
• Breakfast
Lunch can also be added to the morning half day package at an additional cost of £14.95 per head.

Half Day Experience (Afternoon): 11:30am – 4:00pm
• Afternoon activity – Zooper Quiz (NEW), Enrichment Exercise or Treasure Quest
• Giraffe feeding session
• Lunch

Age

Open to participants aged 14yrs +

Anyone aged 14 – 17yrs must be accompanied by an adult aged 18yrs or over who is also paying to participate in the same experience.

There cannot be eight persons under 18yrs participating in this experience.

Number of Participants

Both the Full Day and Half Day Team Building experiences are for a minimum of 8 participants and a maximum of 25 participants.

Experience Time

Full Day – consists of a full day experience from 9:00am until 3:45pm

Half Day (Morning) – consists of a morning experience from 9:00am until 1:00pm

Half Day (Afternoon) – consists of an afternoon experience from 11:30am until 4:00pm

Thank you so much for the fantastic day you provided at the weekend. It was just wonderful. Mum and Dad just had the best time and were still absolutely buzzing the next day when I saw them. My dad had been a little nervous about the pace of the day, but you paced it so well and with so much skill that 18 people ranging from 6 to 86 had a fantastic time. At the end of the day my granddaughters said their favourite part was feeding the giraffes, it was magical. I think my favourite part was seeing my mum and dad's faces when they were in with the meerkats. Thank you for making both of those experiences possible. I spoke to the lady who was in charge of the of the catering at the end of the day, but please would you pass on our thanks again, the food was really nicely judged, taking all of the various requirements into consideration and providing something for everyone to enjoy. Our team came to a Teambuilding day yesterday and I just wanted to say thank you and let you know we all had a great day!! From the time that we arrived at Reception, everyone was very helpful and friendly. Kelly was a fantastic host and we all really enjoyed the activities that were put on for us (even though my team lost the task!!) we were also very impressed with the lovely lunch that was supplied & the service we received. We will definitely be back to try out the other activities and another team are now looking into a day for them too - Zoe, University of Essex (April 2023)
