At Ussuri Falls we have two beautiful Amur leopards, one female and one male. Both of our leopards are kept separate to mimic their natural behaviours in the wild. Leopards are solitary and only come together for breeding.
Amur leopards are distinctive due to their beautiful pale coat and dark rosettes which are large and widely spaced with thick, unbroken rings.
Sadly, Amur leopards are one of the most critically endangered big cats in the world, with an estimated 84 individuals left in the Wild.
We are very excited about what the future might bring for our Amur leopards so why not stop by their enclosure at Ussuri Falls.
