At Ussuri Falls we have two beautiful Amur leopards, one female and one male, as well as the pair’s offspring. Leopards are generally solitary in the wild, so our leopards have their own areas of the enclosure, with mum sharing her home with her youngster.
Amur leopards are distinctive due to their beautiful pale coat and dark rosettes which are large and widely spaced with thick, unbroken rings.
Sadly, Amur leopards are one of the most critically endangered big cats in the world, with an estimated 35 individuals left in the Wild.
We are very excited about what the future might bring for our Amur leopards so why not stop by their enclosure at Ussuri Falls.
